Senator Kennelly presented my copy to me when South Melbourne Council appointed me as its representative on the APCM in 1973 and he was its Chairman. This is Peter Francis' copy.In the folder is a photo that reminded me of the remnant of Melbourne's cable car system that was then utilized in Albert Park as part of its fencing.It is no longer evident there, to my knowledge, and was possibly all removed when the Park became the venue for an Annual International Grand Prix event.Barry Fuhrman was one of many local youngsters who enjoyed utilizing part of it in 1943. Barry has pointed out that this was just before the American Army built their huge military equipment storage sheds in the Park during World War 2.The photo of the then use cable car cable in the Park, and one of the use that youngsters such as Barry Furhman gave to it shown below.Barry's photo was taken by 'one of my aunts' he advised, to describe the record of his truly historic photo.
