A group of concerned Middle Park residents have formed the “Preserving Middle Park Village, Inc.” community association to oppose a Middle Park Hotel development proposal that will adversely affect the amenity of a very peaceful community. The hotel operators (AVC) want an open-air rooftop nightclub, with additional 200 patrons operating until 1 am, 7 nights a week. 

Residents have lodged an objection to VCAT to stop the development based on concerns about noise emanating from the rooftop night club and patrons leaving the hotel and antisocial behaviour in the early hours of the morning will disrupt Middle Park residents. Residents and traders can also expect to lose car parking.

• Tuesday 29th Nov. 7pm at Upstairs at the Middle Park Library
