ROPP is a community focused association that advocates for all residents, businesses, and ratepayers on local matters. ROPP are here for you, and they have a name refresh.

Campbell Spence, President of ROPP said “We are passionate about maintaining our heritage, diverse community, and we want Council to serve their community rather than serving the Port Phillip bureaucracy, minority vested interests and political parties”. 

We are active informing and assisting the community on issues often related to council matters as they happen, and as such the more people we help the more friends we make.

When ROPP was first established in 2018 we advocated for affordable rates, better core services, less wasteful spending by our Council. We represent a broader community, which while seldom heard or seen, are also often in the majority on many council matters.

Frequently members of our community need assistance and feel alone and helpless when faced with a council that will not help them.   These are ratepayers, businesses, residents, and property owners that are not resident.

As such ‘Residents of Port Phillip’ better reflects the assistance we offer all those who reside here in one form or another.
